One-day workshop on full-stack development

On Thursday, 7^th March 2024, I conducted a one-day workshop titled "Full-Stack Development using Django" at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram. Over 50 students from various computer science-related departments attended the hands-on workshop.

We had set an objective to create a web application with the following features: 1. Receive data from a user (through a web browser), validate it and then save it to a database. 2. Receive data from another application in JSON format, validate it and then save it to a database. 3. Send data to a third-party application to perform a specific action.

At the beginning of the day, several students faced technical difficulties installing WSL and Ubuntu. However, post-lunch, we were able to speed up and achieve our objectives.
